Where our data comes from
Everything on YachtAhoy is built from public-domain and open-source information: AIS broadcasts, national ship registries, corporate records, official sanctions lists, investigative journalism and public leak databases. We do not track people — we track vessels and the public record around them.
Accuracy & corrections
We work hard to keep records accurate, but ownership structures are deliberately complex and AIS data can be spoofed or switched off. If you spot something wrong, or you are an owner or representative with a correction request, we want to hear from you.
