Use the “Report information” button on any yacht or owner profile — sightings, ownership changes, corporate links, corrections. A source link makes your tip far stronger.
2 · We review it
Every submission is checked by our team against registries, press and public records before anything goes live. Nothing is published unreviewed.
3 · You earn Plus
Each accepted contribution earns one month of Plus, stackable up to 12 months. Exceptional, well-documented intel can earn Pro time.
What qualifies
- Ownership or corporate structure changes, with a source (registry, filing, press)
- Sightings: where a yacht is moored or was seen, with date and place
- Corrections to specs, names, flags or histories on our profiles
- Sanctions- or seizure-related developments from official sources
What doesn't
- Speculation or rumours without any verifiable source
- Private information that is not part of the public record
- Content copied from paywalled databases or other providers
We only work with public-domain information. Submissions about private individuals without a public-record basis are discarded.
Got your own yacht photos?
Original photos you took yourself are the most valuable contribution of all. An in-app upload is coming; until then, email them to [email protected] with the yacht name and date. You must own the rights and grant YachtAhoy a non-exclusive licence to publish them — you'll always be credited.
Rewards require a YachtAhoy account so we can credit you — anonymous reports are welcome but can't earn Plus. Whether a contribution qualifies is at our team's discretion; rewards are granted after review, typically within a few days. Plus time stacks up to 12 months and expires automatically.
