Alexandr Lebedev
Alexander Lebedev is a Russian businessman and former Soviet intelligence officer who built his fortune in banking and investment. He founded and controls National Reserve Corporation and National Reserve Bank, and is known internationally as a media investor, having backed Russia's Novaya Gazeta newspaper and formerly owning British titles including The Independent and Evening Standard. He has also held stakes in aviation and other sectors in Russia.
