Andreas Panayiotou

<cite index="1-1">Andreas Panayiotou (born January 1966) is a British property developer, the founder of Ability Group, and once the UK's largest private landlord, until he sold up in 2006/07 and moved into hotels.</cite> <cite index="1-2">Panayiotou was born in London, the son of Cypriot parents.</cite> <cite index="2-3">At age 25, he assumed control of his father's small residential property business, transforming it into the Ability Group in 1996, which expanded to develop over 7,000 residential units and amassed a portfolio valued at more than £1 billion by the mid-2000s, making it the UK's largest buy-to-let investor prior to the 2008 financial crisis.</cite>
