Anthony Leah Hsieh
Anthony Hsieh is a Taiwanese-born American entrepreneur based in Newport Beach, California, best known for founding the mortgage lender loanDepot in 2010, one of the largest non-bank retail mortgage lenders in the United States. Earlier in his career he founded the online lenders LoansDirect.com, which he sold to E-Trade in 2001, and HomeLoanCenter.com, which merged with LendingTree in 2004. He served as loanDepot's chairman and CEO and returned to lead the company after stepping back in 2022; his net worth is estimated at around $2.0 billion.
