Arthur M. Blank is an American businessman who co-founded the home-improvement retailer The Home Depot with Bernie Marcus in 1978 and served as its president and later chief executive before retiring as co-chairman in 2001. Based in Atlanta, he is the owner of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League and Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer, and he chairs their parent company, AMB Group. He is also a signer of the Giving Pledge and founder of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. His net worth is estimated at approximately $9.0 billion.
