The Al Nahyan family is the ruling royal family of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and one of the six ruling houses of the United Arab Emirates. The "Bin Zayed" line descends from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1918–2004), the founding father and first president of the UAE, and his sons hold leading positions in the government of Abu Dhabi and the federation. The family is estimated to have a combined net worth of around $2.0 billion.
