Charles Simonyi
Charles Simonyi is a Hungarian-American software architect and businessman who led the development of Microsoft's early application software, including the first versions of Microsoft Word and Excel. A former Xerox PARC researcher who helped pioneer graphical user interfaces, he later co-founded Intentional Software, which Microsoft acquired in 2017, and is also known as a private space traveler who twice visited the International Space Station. His net worth is estimated at approximately $8.0 billion.
