Chen Feng (former owner)
Chen Feng is a Chinese businessman who co-founded HNA Group, a conglomerate that grew out of Hainan Airlines, which he helped establish in the early 1990s. Born in Shanxi province in 1953, he previously worked in China's civil aviation administration before becoming chairman of HNA Group, building it into a sprawling conglomerate with interests in aviation, tourism, logistics, and financial services.
