Christopher Frederick Dawson is a British businessman, born in Plymouth in 1952, who founded and serves as executive chairman of CDS Superstores, the company that trades as the home and garden retail chain The Range. Beginning his career as a market trader, he opened his first store in Plymouth in 1989, and the company has since expanded to hundreds of outlets and acquired the Wilko and Homebase brands. His estimated net worth is around $3.0 billion.
