He founded Ameritel, a business-to-business telemarketing firm, and previously owned the Rainfair protective-clothing company before entering professional sports. He formerly owned the NHL's Nashville Predators and is the majority owner of the Minnesota Wild through Minnesota Sports & Entertainment, with an estimated net worth of around $3.6 billion.
