Estate of Wilhelm Von Finck

Wilhelm von Finck (1848-1924) was a German banker and entrepreneur based in Munich who became a leading figure in German finance and insurance in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was a co-founder of the insurance companies Allianz and Munich Re, and was long associated with the private bank Merck, Finck & Co. His descendants continued to hold significant stakes in German banking, insurance and industrial interests through the 20th century.
