Giorgio Perfetti is an Italian billionaire businessman who, together with his brother Augusto, owns Perfetti Van Melle, one of the world's largest confectionery and chewing gum manufacturers. The company was founded in 1946 near Milan by his father Ambrogio and uncle Egidio, and took its current form in 2001 through the merger of the Italian firm Perfetti with the Dutch company Van Melle, maker of brands such as Mentos, Chupa Chups and Airheads. His net worth is estimated at around $6.1 billion.
