Günter Herz
Günter Herz (born 1940) is a German businessman and the son of Tchibo co-founder Max Herz. He served for decades as head of the family coffee and retail company Tchibo before stepping down in 2002 and selling his stake in the group in 2003. He subsequently founded the family investment holding company Mayfair Vermögensverwaltung, which he runs with his sister Daniela Herz-Schnoeckel and which is known for a former major stake in the sportswear maker Puma; his fortune is estimated at around $2.0 billion.
