Gustavo Cisneros
Gustavo Cisneros (1945–2023) was a Venezuelan businessman who served as chairman of Grupo Cisneros, the family-founded conglomerate based in Caracas with interests spanning media, telecommunications, real estate, and consumer products across Latin America. He was widely known for his role in Venevisión, Venezuela's leading television network, and as a longtime shareholder in the U.S. Spanish-language broadcaster Univision. Cisneros built on the business founded by his father, Diego Cisneros, expanding it into one of the largest privately held groups in the region.
