Huseyin Basaran
Huseyin Basaran is a Turkish businessman who serves as Chairman of the Board of Basaran Yatirim Holding, a diversified family conglomerate that originated in the hazelnut trade in Trabzon and has since expanded into finance, energy, construction, cement, tourism, and aviation. He has also served as deputy chairman of the Trabzonspor football club. Basaran gained wider public attention in 2018 when his daughter, Mina Basaran, died in a plane crash in Iran.
