Iksander Safa
Iskandar Safa (1955–2024) was a French businessman of Lebanese origin, known for co-founding Privinvest Group with his brother Akram. Privinvest became an international shipbuilding conglomerate, and in 1992 Safa led the acquisition of the Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie (CMN) shipyard in Cherbourg, France, turning it into a major naval and commercial vessel builder. He was also involved in philanthropic and cultural initiatives in France and Lebanon.
