Jay Schottenstein (born 1954) is an American businessman from Columbus, Ohio, who leads a family-founded retail empire. He is the executive chairman and chief executive officer of American Eagle Outfitters and executive chairman of Designer Brands (parent of the DSW shoe chain), and he also serves as chairman of Schottenstein Stores Corporation, American Signature and SB360 Capital Partners. His estimated net worth is approximately $2.7 billion.
