Jimmy John Liautaud
Jimmy John Liautaud (born January 12, 1964) is an American entrepreneur best known as the founder and former chairman of Jimmy John's, a sandwich chain he launched in Charleston, Illinois, in 1983 with a loan from his father. He grew the business to thousands of locations before selling his majority stake to Roark Capital Group in 2016 and merging his remaining interest into Inspire Brands in 2019. He is estimated to be worth approximately $1.7 billion and now focuses on his family investment company and the Liautaud Family Foundation.
