Juan Miguel Villar Mir
Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, 1st Marquess of Villar Mir (1931–2024), was a Spanish businessman and politician who founded the Grupo Villar Mir conglomerate and served as chairman of the construction company Obrascón Huarte Lain (OHL). He held a doctorate in civil engineering and, during Spain's transition to democracy, served as Minister of Economy and Finance and Third Deputy Prime Minister in 1975–1976. His business group controlled interests in construction, infrastructure, real estate, and industrial firms including Ferroglobe and Fertiberia, with his estimated net worth reported at around $3.8 billion.
