Kenneth P. Weiss (1942–2025) was an American entrepreneur, human factors engineer and inventor best known for creating the SecurID authentication token. He founded Security Dynamics Technologies in 1984, which later acquired encryption firm RSA Security, and subsequently founded Universal Secure Registry (USR), a Newton, Massachusetts-based company developing identification and authentication technologies. He held more than 20 U.S. and foreign patents and was recognized as an authority on computer security and identity authentication.
