He founded the e-commerce company JD.com (also known as Jingdong) in 2004, serving as its chief executive officer until 2022 and remaining its chairman. Under his leadership, JD.com grew into one of China's largest retailers, expanding into sectors including retail, technology, logistics, and healthcare; his net worth is estimated at approximately $6.0 billion.
