Liu Qiangdong
Liu Qiangdong, also known by his English name Richard Liu, is a Chinese internet entrepreneur born in 1973 in Suqian, Jiangsu province. He founded the e-commerce company JD.com (also known as Jingdong) in 2004, serving as its chief executive officer until 2022 and remaining its chairman. Under his leadership, JD.com grew into one of China's largest retailers, expanding into sectors including retail, technology, logistics, and healthcare; his net worth is estimated at approximately $6.0 billion.
