Mohammed Mahdi Al Tajir (born 1931) is an Emirati businessman based in the United Kingdom who served as the first United Arab Emirates ambassador to the United Kingdom following the country's formation in 1971. He earlier organised the customs department in Dubai and became a close advisor to the ruler Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and he owns the Scottish bottled-water company Highland Spring along with interests in finance and property. His estimated net worth is around $2.0 billion.
