MARIJKE ELIZABETH MARS
Marijke Elizabeth Mars (born 1965) is an American businesswoman and heiress, a fourth-generation member of the Mars family behind the confectionery and pet-food company Mars, Incorporated, founded by her great-grandfather Frank Mars in 1911. A Duke University graduate, she began her career at the Mars pet-food subsidiary Kal Kan Foods and later worked at Mars Food, and she serves on the company's board of directors. She and her three sisters each inherited an estimated 8 percent stake in the company following the 2016 death of their father, Forrest Mars Jr.; her net worth is estimated at around $11 billion.
