Mike Lynch (died while the yacht sank)

Mike Lynch was a British technology entrepreneur best known for founding Autonomy Corporation in 1996, a Cambridge-based enterprise software company that grew into one of the UK's largest technology firms. He read Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, where he also gained a Ph.D., and later founded the venture capital firm Invoke Capital, through which he helped establish further technology ventures including the cybersecurity firm Darktrace. He was based in London and was frequently described as one of Britain's most prominent technology entrepreneurs.
