Ming Hsieh
Ming Hsieh is a Chinese-born American entrepreneur and technology executive based in the Pasadena, California area. He founded Cogent Systems in 1990, a biometric fingerprint-identification company that went public in 2004 and was acquired by 3M in 2010, and in 2011 he founded Fulgent Genetics, a genetic testing and diagnostics company that he took public in 2016. He is a major philanthropic donor to the University of Southern California.
