Mohammed Al Shaya
Mohammed Alshaya is a Kuwaiti businessman who serves as Executive Chairman of M.H. Alshaya Co., a family trading business founded in 1890 in Kuwait. He was appointed CEO of the retail division in 1990 and became Executive Chairman in 2007, and he is also Chairman of Mabanee Company SAK, Kuwait's largest real estate company by market cap. Under his leadership, Alshaya Group has become one of the Gulf's leading retail franchise operators, partnering with numerous international brands across the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Turkey and Europe.
