Nathan Paul Myhrvold

Nathan Paul Myhrvold is an American inventor, scientist, and businessman who served as Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft before retiring in 2000. He went on to co-found Intellectual Ventures, a technology invention and patent licensing firm, and TerraPower, an advanced nuclear energy company, and is also known as the principal author of the Modernist Cuisine cookbook series. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics and resides in Medina, Washington.
