Obaid Humaid Al Tayer is an Emirati businessman and politician who serves as Chairman of Al Tayer Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests in automotive, retail, real estate and engineering. He served as the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Financial Affairs, a role he held until September 2021, and has also chaired organizations including Etisalat. He is based in Dubai and has held numerous board and leadership positions at UAE government and financial institutions.
