Otto Happel
Otto Happel (born 9 February 1948) is a German billionaire businessman and engineer who is the former owner and CEO of the industrial engineering company GEA Group. In 1974 he took over GEA, a family business founded by his father in 1920, and over the following decades transformed it into a global system supplier for the food processing, power, and refrigeration industries before selling his controlling stake to MG Technologies in 1999. His net worth is estimated at approximately $3.2 billion.
