Pier Luigi Loro Piana
Pier Luigi Loro Piana (born December 1951) is an Italian businessman and heir to the Loro Piana luxury textile and fashion house founded by his grandfather Pietro in 1924. Together with his brother Sergio, he led the company from the 1970s, expanding it from a high-end fabric supplier into a global luxury brand before selling an 80% stake to LVMH for approximately $2.6 billion in 2013. He continues to serve as deputy chairman and remains a minority shareholder, with an estimated net worth of around $1.6 billion.
