Richard Duchossois
Richard L. Duchossois (1921-2022) was an American businessman and racehorse owner from the Chicago area. He was the founder and chairman of The Duchossois Group, a family-owned company with interests in rail car and defense manufacturing, and held ownership stakes in Arlington Park and Churchill Downs racetracks. A World War II veteran, he built his business empire over several decades while residing in Barrington Hills, Illinois.
