Richard Schulze
Richard Michael Schulze is an American businessman and philanthropist best known as the founder of Best Buy, the consumer electronics retailer he established in 1966 as a small St. Paul, Minnesota store originally called Sound of Music. He served as the company's chairman and CEO before stepping down as CEO in 2002, and later became chairman emeritus. In 2004 he founded the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation; his net worth is estimated at approximately $4.1 billion.
