Valentino Garavani

Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani (1932–2026), known mononymously as Valentino, was an Italian fashion designer who founded the luxury fashion house Valentino S.p.A. in 1960 and served as its creative director until 2007. Based in Rome, he became known for his haute couture eveningwear and his signature crimson shade, 'Valentino red,' and is regarded as one of the preeminent figures in 20th-century fashion. His estimated net worth was around $1.5 billion.
