Walter Scott Jr.
Walter Scott Jr. (1931–2021) was an American businessman and philanthropist from Omaha, Nebraska. He spent his career at construction firm Peter Kiewit Sons' Inc., becoming its CEO in 1979 and later chairman, and served on the board of Berkshire Hathaway as a longtime friend and business partner of Warren Buffett. Much of his estimated fortune of about $4.2 billion derived from his stake in Berkshire Hathaway Energy.
